Cindy Kubica is an internationally known motivational speaker and author from Franklin, Tennessee. As a stress expert and energy coach, Cindy focuses on the balance of the mind and body, and how it influence behavior. Dr. Vicki Dunn, Deputy Chief of Staff, of the First U.S. Army says “Cindy doesn’t just speak to the ears but to the soul.”
Cindy is the author of two personal development audio series, In Search of Normal: 9 1/2 Steps to Move from Chaos to Clarity, which challenges listeners to take personal responsibility for their own life and happiness; and Fit to Communication/Fit to Lead; guiding the listener to better self-health habits; and bound book, Career Compass for Women.
Cindy and Farris opened their studio in 1992 when Cindy was still coaching entertainers, politicians and aspiring models. "Everyone I coached needed photos, it was the perfect union," says Cindy. I Want a Love Story to Happen to Me, is the first in a series of gift book collaborations with Farris. The gift book is both poignant and humorous. It’s a celebration of the rewards of a committed relationship. Sam Horn (Tongue Fu!®) says, “In a few words and beautiful photographs, you’ve captured the cycle of love. I believe this book will become a classic.”
Love Story is based entirely on a poem that Cindy wrote in her early thirties.“I was dumped by the man I was engaged to because he didn’t want to be an instant father to my twelve year old daughter. To release the pain I began journaling, and the first verse was born,” she says.
Cindy finished the poem when she realized that she was ready to be in a relationship again – but only with someone who was in it for the long haul. She says, “I hope that this book will help people think about their relationships in a different way. Relationships are full of ups and downs. The commitment for the long haul is what creates the ‘happily ever after.’”
Cindy has done everything from coaching to appearing in six movies and over 200 commercials. She was also one of the original Nashville video babes when CMT was only on for four hours a day. And have you ever heard of a video babe that roofed houses? Yes, she’s done it all!
Cindy and her husband, Gary Karg, live just outside of Nashville, Tennessee with their granddaughter, Sara; Cindy's father, Jerry; and their four cats: Cinnamon, Blade, Tom and Bandaid. Along with her family, Cindy enjoys spending time with grandson, Chase. In her spare time, Cindy run/walks everything from 5k's to marathons.
